Honda Manufacturing of North America
In 1997 Honda Manufacturing of North America announced it would build a new facility in the rural town of Timmonsville, S.C.
Long before the public announcement, however, Nexsen Pruet's economic development group had helped negotiate an acceptable incentives package for the company. Then the real estate team assisted with land acquisition.
Honda, now one of South Carolina's premier corporate citizens, employs 1,650 people in Timmonsville facility, which produces all-terrain vehicles and personal watercraft carriers. And our relationship with the company continues to grow.
